It's always hard to say what will happen during occasions like this,
but the point you bring p was specifically mentioned during the
conference call today that announced the merger.  I think Macromedia
realizes that there is a lot to lose if that community dries up.

I, for one, am excited about the merger.  It opens up a great deal of
possibilities for the future.

One really cool thing Cold Fusion is the developer community. There is

passion about Cold Fusion that I havent seen with other
languages/technologies. We love Cold Fusion and what we can do with it.
As a
result, there is a strong sense of community amongst us. Will that

under Macromedia? Or will Cold Fusion become just another product in a
