I think Microsoft will benefit from this partnership since the majority of
MM's products were initially, and still are, designed for a Windows
platform.

I can see a mixture creation of ASP + CF + UltraDev + a host of others.  It
will be the bastard love child of a corporation under Microsoft's control.
Microsoft will be able to dictate the market even more due to them
controlling the most popular browser, the most popular (I think) OS.  How
can MM stand up to them? even WITH the backing of CF.
