Must have been my client's site mucking up the registry. LOL
If it was, sorry 'bout that. :)

Well, that's one of the problems with shared hosting. But, that is
the reason I coughed up a quadrillion dollars to go into the hosting
biz. Then I know I can do things properly like keeping things that
don't belong in the registry out of the registry (I don't even like
TALKING about the registry, let alone storing stuff in there) and
reasonably limiting the number of CF sites per server.
In defense of Hostcentric/Virtualscape, I've never been ignored by
them when I've had a tech problem. They generally try their best to
address problems in a reasonable time frame. I just had a single bad
experience. I don't want anyone on this list to think I'm bashing
their company. Just relating an experience to someone who asked.
That said, in the past I've had clients that aren't comfortable
hosting with me because I'm small and because I can't have someone
physically stand over my servers 24/7 since they are colocated. In
those instances, I've always recommended Virtualscape. I'd heartily
do so again if they'd provide SQL Server client storage free of
charge. If you're paying 50+ bucks per month for CF hosting, you
shouldn't have to pay an additional 50 bucks to use one of it's most
basic features.
