Hahaha.  This is gonna be one of those funky threads, where the gripe
about OT posts is actually longer than the original OT post!  Kinda
defeats the purpose, eh?  Glad that I was able to contribute  :)

If it's clearly marked as OT, why not?  Afterall, where else can one
find a collective gathering of experts in related fields such as this
list provides??? (not claiming to be one of those experts, but they are
out there).

I find the topics which are marked OT, are related to some aspect of web
development, which may or may not help us all out.

Just my thoughts.

What do people think about the increasing number of off topic posts on
this list? Should they be tolerated as long as they are marked as OT? Or
should we be actively trying to ensure that the signal to noise ratio on
this list stays low by asking that people not post off topic material?
