Make sure your form on the first page is passing the variables as
enctype="application/x-www-form-urlencoded".

If this isn't the case, could you provide the error you are getting?

I don't understand I have on one page this:

On the action page I have this:

<cffile action="UPLOAD" filefield="pdfupload" destination="f:\main
site\travel\pdf\" nameconflict="ERROR">

shouldn't this pass the directory for the file and upload it to the server?
What am I missing?
