I have to believe that there is some other problem with your system.  I've
run Studio 3.1, 4.0, 4.5 and now 5 and the only one I ever had any trouble
with was 4.0 (threw error on closing).  I ran 4.5 on Win 98 forever a year
and never had a problem with it.
