When I want to know what my local weather is like, I look out the window. When I want to know the forcast (rarely), I watch broadcast news, or the weather station on tv for a few minutes.
I tend to agree with Adam. A company's main page should be about the company - not necessarily about the environment around their building. However, if the managers decide they want weather info, then I would handle it as a simple link on the main page to a weather page. This way, you are still providing the information, but minimizing the use of screen real estate for it, and allowing the user to choose if they want to see it or not. My two cents worth.
