Yep - win2k also needs a reinstall. Does Linux require a reinstall? -----Original Message----- From: Pete Ruckelshaus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Friday, April 19, 2002 7:23 AM To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: Single-to-dual processor... reinstall CF?
You don't need to reinstall CF, but you MAY need to reinstall your OS, depending upon which one it is. I know that going from single --> dual CPU in NT4 the multiprocessor kernel needs to be installed, not sure about Win2K but I would assume that it's a similar deal. Do I need to reinstall CF, or will it automagically sense and utilize the extra horsepower? > > Thx, > > --------------------------------------- > Matt Robertson [EMAIL PROTECTED] > MSB Designs, Inc., www.mysecretbase.com > --------------------------------------- > > > ______________________________________________________________________ This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
