Well, in that case, your beef isn't really with Solaris, I guess. I'm in the same boat, basically. I've got a couple of Solaris boxes that I "manage", in the loosest sense of the term, and it takes me forever to do anything on them because I don't know what I'm doing. But I suspect that once I did know, I'd like it quite a bit - as it stands now, once I do learn something about the platform, I find it quite sensible in most cases.
