Doing Webpages (HTML, Javascript) since 1995 I started with Coldfusion 2 1/2 years
ago. My first fusebox project was an Online Learning Environment
where instructors can upload their courses, files and quizzes in
various formats and students can study online, download them and upload
finished exercises.
Right now I working on the webpages for a 6 year old non-profit
community network combining legacy pages with dynamic pages and a
little content management system which is sooooo unflexible that I
really like to contribute to a more grown up system.
I don't have a formal programming background, my coding
contributions will be on a high junior level. I am very good in
'dummy testing' as I teach a lot of folks using computers and
deal with user interfaces that partly make sense. I also teach web
design to non-profit organizations.
So I am a passionate web application programmer rookie not out
there to make money in the first place but to learn, grow and give
back.
My educational background is business school and fifteen year
hospitality industry on high level management positions. I am glad
I am only up against a dummy computer now. <g> No guests, no staff:-)
