I am in need of a role based Security setup.

Users, Groups, Roles, Permissions

In addition, I have some half baked ideas about bilateral profiled
associations. Meaning I can say I am a Dad - and have my son approve the
association. Both sides can customize the profile information required to
complete (approve) the association transaction.

Another example would be a specialized mailing list subscribed, requiring a
service request to be completed and approved.

I want this to be the basis of bilateral role registration system.

The shopping cart from Aloha, seems to handles this well (I think).

I am slowly plugging through this, but any code kick start is appreciated. I
am thinking this could be basic to the CMS project.

I am currently defining security attributes in the application.cfm, and
using them to feed into context based applications. ie when you look at a
page, and have a "toolkit" turned on - when you have editor rights - you
have a link to edit the page, if you have owner rights - you have sharing,
edit, and delete options. ie the options available are based on the role of
the viewer.
