Interesting.. I agree (now).. Have actually tested it and found no real difference. That's great. I guess it was a remainder from the 'olden days'. Perhaps it's the review and restructuring of code when moving it over to cfscript that makes it faster. I take that comment back. But it wasn't slower either, so what you say is true..

you mean writing it??
as cfml hasn't been any slower then cfscript since mx came out.
back in the olden days cfscript was faster but these days its all compiled to the same old byte code
