Just wondering what some of you do when you encounter
hackers/crackers/spammers on your website?

We have some code in place that detects leeching, possible flood attacks,
scanning etc. during the xmas period some people been having a go at our
site. We know who it is, sent them an email to explain their actions. No
response yet, and not expecting one. We're thinking of going to their host
next... But what else is there that one can do about these people?
