When I ask my 2.5 year old Amy where I work she gets this maniac grin on her face and exclaims "WOKBOOTS!" Suppose I should get a video of it before she becomes a teenager (effectively about 3 years old in Australia 2005).

At parties I usually explain that I help the people who build websites that actually do stuff, like travel bookings. In the ensuring vaccuum of conversation my wife chips in to explain that I belong to a bizzare subculture that sits in front of computers all day to collect clothing and pens with logos on them and attends "user groups" which for some reason helps to pigeon-hole my position in society to the listeners.

Haha, actually they had a good handle on the word "Macromedia" from an
early age, Laura the 6yr old knows to say "My daddy uses Macromedia
products" when asked what her father does, I'm now busy switching them
from XP to MacOS.
