Heya Sean, >> <CFSET request.dsn = "blah"> >> What's the best practice in this case? SC> I'd go with request scope. Why put this in application scope? What
I was thinking in the Application scope you would only have to set them once, and thereafter check if they were already initialised, rather than setting them on every page request. Are you saying the overhead in checking if they exist already would be more than the overhead of just setting them for every request? thanks... ----------------------- Ryan Sabir Newgency Pty Ltd 2a Broughton St Paddington 2021 Sydney, Australia Ph (02) 9331 2133 Fax (02) 9331 5199 Mobile: 0411 512 454 http://www.newgency.com/index.cfm?referer=rysig --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
