Can someone point me in the right direction either:
* to a proxy aware equivalent to ImageSize, or * how to add proxy-happiness into ImageSize
Where does the proxy come into it when you are reading an image from the filesystem? Or is this something else entirely we are talking about (I'm not much of a grrraphics man tbh, so forgive me if this is a stupid question).
Macro Schmidt's ImageInfo class is fast and can handle most image types, I've used this with Speck CMS. You can download the source from http://www.geocities.com/marcoschmidt.geo/image-info.html. There is a custom tag included with Speck which uses this class to read image dimensions. You can download it from http://www.speckcms.com (alternatively, send me a mail off-list and I'll send you the compiled class and the custom tag)
