OK so can we agree that:

*if* you have nicely named tables, queries are *generally* clearer
without excessive aliasing fo table names. However if your table names
are the cryptic invention of some mad tripper, aliasing *may* help
make queries easier to understand.

Geeez I reckon I could get a job writing best practice manuals with
profound statements like that.
