G'day mate I don't think this is quite what I'm after (giving it a superficial read).
I don't want to insert anything in my code to the effect of "here's a milestone", or "here's an error"; I just want the debugging output (CF's *own* debugging output) to go to a file AS IT IS GENERATED (as opposed to at the end of the request, in the page-end output). Or maybe log4j can be implemented to effect this, and I'm just not seeing it? -- Adam -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Haikal Saadh Sent: 27 July 2005 10:31am To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [CFCDev] OT: Debugging You can use log4j. http://cfdj.sys-con.com/read/42122.htm Shows you how to integrate it into your cf app. What I would suggest is have a CFC: Logger ===== - <Any log4j Appenders you want to write to> ===== + init() + debug(); + info(); + warn(); + error(); + fatal(); And stick that in application scope. I started out building a CFC wrapper around log4j, but translating OO Java to CF is beyond my skills. (Damn the lack of static members in CF!) Adam Cameron wrote: >Hi...
