Although I was joking about new features… I never got “Aint gonna do it” from MM. Let’s not beat a live horse, let’s save the beatings for the dead ones. We need the live ones to keep working for us. MM has been changing to more market sensitive of late. I would like to see Flex builder for a DW price at best… but I know how much better apps will sell with Ritch GUI. Some of you spring chickens don’t remember DOS apps like the rest of us. GUI is only one of the things that made things sell. (Even windows was a jump away from DOS thinking…) Macromedia is a market leader and has some great solutions. Like everyone I would like to see more aggressive competitive pricing. Yet… like everyone I want more for my pay also. We all want to pay less and get more. Being a small private company owner the concept of enterprise version of CF stinks to me. I do understand how they view it though. My curiosity is how Adobe will position CF. I expect support the real (vs my kidding post) is yet to be revealed.

Is this because Adobe took them over?  Is that list on a MM/Adobe page somewhere?

I have been asking for some of those things for some time and always got an "Aint gonna do it" from MM.

So - straight away - it seems as though the Adobe takeover is going to be a good thing.
