Ian: your XSLT method was in response/related to this, yes?

I was kinda hoping (since Spike was referring origionally to CF6.1) that this
was all sorted by now. Obviously not.
anyone know what enhancements to XML the next version of CF might have? I know
it's inefficent using the DOM but even extending the basic functionality would
be a help - cloneNode, appendChild, etc...
Umm, I'm not sure how related it is to spikes method, but it is an alternate to
achieve the same result. I find it pretty easy to do. I combine the xml and
xslt with ColdFusion functions, so I would guess you could call it a
combination CF/XML/XSLT method.
These are the XML functions available in CFMX7
AddSOAPRequestHeader
IsSOAPRequest
IsXmlRoot
XmlGetNodeType
AddSOAPResponseHeader
IsXML
IsWDDX
XmlNew
GetSOAPRequest
IsXmlAttribute
ToString
XmlParse
GetSOAPRequestHeader
IsXmlDoc
XmlChildPos
XmlSearch
GetSOAPResponse
IsXmlElem
XmlElemNew
XmlTransform
GetSOAPResponseHeader
IsXmlNode
XmlFormat
XmlValidate
