I can't talk on behalf of the project,

But I can tell you I just joined the team, after expressing some
interest, and have some interesting new ideas I want to throw at the
CFHIbernate project.

Some people have got Hibernate working with CF, but it has taken some wrangling.

I've got lots on my plate at the moment, but I plan to start doing
some work on getting Hibernate running easily on a CF environ sometime
next week or so.

Regards,

Mark

hi all

our group is picking up the Java (+JSP) reins so I'm wanting to (at
least start with) some simplier Java frameworks/techniques to use, and
as an ulterior motive, improve their CF practices (eg: introduce the
widespread take-up of CFC's)

which means finding/using similarities between them. two birds with one stone.

so....has anything become of CF's version of Hibernate?

thanx

PS: yeah, yeah, Spring/ColdSpring - natch.

PPS: watching a presso on EJB3 just before and a quote caught me
claiming that DAO's, Beans, et al, ... were "Evil"...that's a bit
_harsh_, isn't it?
