to 99.9% of all ColdFusion developers. I just can't begin to imagine
how much confusion this autowiring of CFC-as-class-metadata would
cause people.

As Tom said, for those who have a handle on this, ColdSpring is a good
solution for those few folk who need this "feature" and for everyone
else it just adds complexity.

Don't get me wrong - I *like* the feature - I like Smalltalk's
approach. But it's not a mainstream technique, even in Smalltalk to be
honest.
