I do too, and that is my preference, Perhaps this way we can establish this as a way of showing we can reliably mutate the code with confidence. For this and a few of the other ideas collectively our clang-format community has had. If we are able to prove it has value then I would hope and fully expect in the future to be able to at least discuss revisiting that decision, but for now I feel we have to prove its worth.
