MaskRay added a comment. Beside the concern raised by platform maintainers: the cc1 default switch part should be made separately from the patch. This makes revert easy and leaves fewer churn to the test suite.
If -fno-sized-deallocation is a better cc1 default (but not Driver's), I can make such a change.
