if it helps, the iphone is perfectly capable of handling CalDAV
servers and there contents. Just not within the calendar app.
You need to get the SDK and code it ;)
There is a workaround I am investigating...
My chandler notes come up as to-dos in Mail.app
Then they appear in the phone in the mailboxes.
Will try to confirm as I get consistent results.

iPhone gets push Cals with iCal - via 'normal' calendars and mobile
me. (or sync via itunes)
Cosmo syncs with iCal via account calendars - these are not pushed
to mobile me
or sync'd with itunes and so you cannot mix and match, so the only
calendars
pushed to the iPhone are the mobile me ones.
I use my iPhone and QE app to add tasks, but I can only view the
Cal events in
iCal on mydesktop unless I duplicate the cal into one of my
'normal' cals.
I also have exchange calendar which works great on iPhone but not
so on desktop,
however using entourage I push cal to iCal and then up to mobile me
and
subscribe to it in Chandler :D
