I may be misunderstanding what you're asking so bear with me :)
I believe you can accomplish this if you go to the "ticketed" view of your Calendar (as in don't log into your account, instead use the sharing URL to view it on Hub)...and click on Subscribe with Apple iCal. I believe then you will get a link to the .ics file that does not require authentication, but instead relies on a ticket.
