Ah ok...

So unfortunately, there's currently no way to subscribe to a collection from within your account. Instead, when someone sends you a sharing link to subscribe to their collection, there should be a link to ADD TO MY ACCOUNT in the upper left-hand corner.

(I know you've answered this question before, so bear with me through the repetition...;)

When you click on the link I provided below, do you see an "ADD TO MY ACCOUNT" link in the upper left-hand corner?

If you do, click on that to "subscribe" to the collection, which will in turn add it to your Hub account.

(Let's try to get through this issue and then tackle the drag and drop issue separately. Are you able to restart Chandler normally and see all your data?)

Best,
Mimi

So, is US Holidays already one of the collections that shows up in the left-hand sidebar on Chandler Hub in the web browser?

No. When I set up the hub, I published all my collections from the CD to the CH, but I cannot publish the US Holidays collection in my desktop (because I didn't create it?). That selection is grayed out.

Rather, I tried to subscribe to the US Holidays directly from within the Hub, but see no way to do that.

If so, then you have already subscribed to the Holidays Calendar on Hub. (There's no need to "link it to a subscription" once it's been added to your Hub account.)

I haven't subscribed. Can't see how to do it. I simply created a new collection in the hub and NAMED it US Holidays. It's empty because it's not connected in any way to the collection someone else created. It just has the same name.

What's curious is that the calendar is empty. May I ask what view you're looking at? Triage List or Calendar?

Neither view is different, but that's likely because it's just a new, empty collection I created.

Do you see any events when you follow this link? https:// hub.chandlerproject.org/pim/collection/7febe2f4-324c-11dd- d9e4-0016cbca6aed?ticket=01q75n1sy0

Yup, I see all the holidays.

As for the drag and drop issue. I'm wondering if there is something er, "corrupted" about your repository that is causing the odd sidebar behavior.

To clean up your repo:

1. Just to be safe, perform manual backup of your data to a .chex file. (under File>>Export...)

2. Then quit and restart the application while holding down the Ctrl-key...and then selecting the 2nd option: Do internal clean- up, but save my data and preferences.

I did that and got an "Internal Program Error." I sent the report. I clicked "Restart" but it didn't restart. I restarted manually, trying this again, and got the same error.

Or if that doesn't work, try the 3rd option: Discard recent changes until data integrity tests pass.

Tried this and got another "Internal Program Error." Sent report, clicked restart. Program did not restart. Second attempt, same results.
