When adding an event to Chandler, I frequently search to check it's not
already in there using the "command box", e.g. by typing "/f Joe's
party". If it isn't, I can then add it, by editing the "f" to an "e"
and hitting return.

This is very convenient, but when I do it the focus (if that's the right
term) jumps not to the entry I've just created but to whatever task or
event was selected in the dashboard before I created the new event.

This behaviour is confusing and inconsistent with the behavoiur if I'd
created the event without having done a search first.

It means I often overwrite the dates of some other event thinking I'm
entering the date of the new event.

Can this be fixed?

John
