OSAF service administrators may wish to be aware of the unusual activity
described below.

Sometimes when both Mail 3.5 (930.3) and iCal 3.0.6 (1273) run at the same
time, I find that iCal communicates with osaf-hub-01.osafoundation.org every
two seconds or thereabouts.

Each spinning cursor alongside the Hub account in sidebar of iCal is
accompanied by a report, in the Activity window of Mail:

Reconciling To Do's [sic]

The amount of data involved is not great (over a one minute period, a total of
176 KB up/down) but it's a sign to me that reconciliation is not good. My first
guess: this repeated, unusually frequent activity may be related to the
combination of:

1) iCal losing track of items on the Hub (highlight from
<http://n2.nabble.com/-tp1660163p2519377.html>, 'iCal will fail to show all
edition for as long as the item remains in the calendar of Chandler Hub')

and

2) Mail's ability to show To Do items on the Hub
<http://n2.nabble.com/-tp2097205p2097205.html>.

Regards
Graham
