AFAIR, first by manually entering hub.chandlerproject.org and in advanced settings, the path /dav/users/username (mimicing what works in iCal 3). At one point the account was not verified, later verified. Then AFAIR I copied the CalDAV URL from Hub. Again the account was verified. In all CalDAV cases: even if the account is verified, no calendars (collections) appear.
