Chandler lost it's mind tonight. The first indication was when it loaded some default dataset, not my dataset. I expanded the backup and copied the files to the _repository_ directory. After several start attempts that resulted in errors, I would occasionally get the opportunity to try to start with various options like: - normal - delete my data and start fresh (who would chose this?) - delete indexes and re-index ... and so on. After trying a couple different ones of these, I started getting the error in the subject line. I rebooted, and I'm still getting the error message. The ._repository_.lock file gets created when I try to start Chandler and get the "another chandler" error message. When I click on the "OK" button (and it's not really OK, I want chandler to run with MY data, but that's another conversation) the ._repository_.lock get removed from the .default directory. So ... what file tells Chandler there's another Chandler running? And what do I do to correct this issue?
