My apologies. I'm very quick to reply to email and often cause too much traffic. Some will be repeat, but below are all my answers.
> > my OS is Windows and iTunes not sure the version, but it is the latest > > since I needed to upgrade in order to upgrade the iPod firmware to 3.1.3. > > > > Please: which version of Windows, which version of iTunes? When I work with Windows, its XP. The version of iTunes is v9.0.3. My normal usage is both in a VMware v2.0 virtual machine running on my Linux box (XUbuntu 8.10). > Do you use Microsoft Office Outlook? No. Never have, never will. :) > If so, is Outlook configured to read from your Chandler Server? n/a > Have you /ever/ used iTunes to sync /anything/ between your computer and > your iPod Touch? Only apps, MP3s, and MOVs. > Did a sync occur before or after your update to 3.1.3? Yes, both. Also note, the update to 3.1.3 fails miserably under VMware. I had to perform the update to 3.1.3 on a second machine with a native XP OS. Once that was done, I restored my data from backup on the VM (virtual machine)...not that I had all that much data to begin with. The iPod was about 2wks old. > (On Mac OS X 10.5.x and 10.6.x, syncs seem to be routine when the user > allows iTunes to work for devices that use iPhone OS. I'm less familiar with > Windows.) > > Was your update to 3.1.3 before or after configuration of iPhone OS to work > with your Chandler Server? Both. I was only able to get Read-Only before the update. After the update I tried again but using Chandler Hub. That's when I found it worked Read/Write with the Hub, but only Read with the Chandler Server Bundle. So both. > Can you recall the version of iPhone OS prior to the update? Yes. I had v3.1.2 from date of purchase (as I mentioned, only about 2wks prior to update). > >> Try, a trailing slash e.g. > >> http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xx/chandler/dav/users/XXXXX/ > > > > will double check. > > > > Is the trailing slash visible when you review your advanced CalDAV > configuration in iPhone OS? No it is not. I placed the trailing slash and I still (at least now) get a "verified" account, but no events showing in the calendar. When I go back to review the advanced settings, no is no more trailing slash. Also, it may be of interest to you that when I had 2 collections on the Chandler Server (1 uploaded {published} via Chandler Desktop and one created right there on the web application) *both* collection names showed up in the calendar app on the iPod when listing possible calendars (when viewing the calendar itself, the upper-left has a button labeled 'Calendars' which allows you to view individual calendars or all of them. However, neither collection had any events on the calendar itself. ---------------------------------------- David A.
