Meanwhile I have found some heartening and distheartening information with further research into the idea of developing. Heartening: Apparently touch oriented devices mostly react in the desired way to apps that have been developed prior to touch sensitive apps which used clicks and maybe even drags. Disherening: I am beginning to realize that what I want is a rather complicated drag which understands that the path that was taken is perhaps multiple circles. I have no way to imagine following such a drag.
