I don't see this problem using Gmail. Is the Tbird behaviour consistent? It seems that Skip and Pascal were anonymized, but is this always the case? If so, check your address book entries for them.
Also, is it possible to customize the "Correspondents" column in Tbird, so as to force showing the "From" address for the forums?
