I know I had a conversation with Ken about this - all I can remember
is that he was dismissive in the sense that he did not agree. I wish
I could remember and quote what he said but all I recall is an
impression that he thought this was a case of someone trying to be
clever but not saying anything that mattered. It didn't merit a
rebuttal because the criticism was completely off the mark and based
on attributing poor programing habits to APL as if they were a
feature intrinsic to the language.
