So...

I was wanting to install the J interpreter on my android phone.

Except, I can't.

A part of the problem is that github delivers raw files as text/plain
and so I apparently need to install an sdk on my phone to get a
console so that I can install the apk.

But to do that, I would need to use the market.

But I can't do that because I have enabled google's two factor
authentication for my phone. And, the market does not support two
factor authentication.

So... apparently what I need to do is install "google authenticator".
So, I go to play.google.com and seach for google authenticator and ask
for it to be installed.

"Google Authenticator will be installed shortly" [ok]

What?

So, now I am in a state where play.google.com is telling me that this
thing is installed. Except, you know, it's not (or: I do not see
anything with a name like "Google Authenticator" in my list of
installed apps...)

So... to deal with this issue intelligently, I need some way of
estimating how long the download will take to complete (if that is
even the issue). Or, more generally, I need to understand what I am
supposed to be doing.

I don't suppose anyone understands this system?
