Raul, In spite of githib's provided mime-type, you should be able to download the file directly to your device via: https://github.com/mdykman/jconsole_for_android/blob/master/dist/j-console-1.0.1.apk?raw=true and save the file.
When you open the saved file, it should kick off the install. I just tested this package in this manner not 10 minutes ago from an ASUS tablet and I have several reports of success on phones from android 2.2+. You will have to enable non-market applications in your setting first. - michael On Mon, Mar 19, 2012 at 10:02 AM, Raul Miller <[email protected]> wrote: > So... > > I was wanting to install the J interpreter on my android phone. > > Except, I can't. > > A part of the problem is that github delivers raw files as text/plain > and so I apparently need to install an sdk on my phone to get a > console so that I can install the apk. > > But to do that, I would need to use the market. > > But I can't do that because I have enabled google's two factor > authentication for my phone.
