My main motivation in having a server in my classroom is to provide functionality when Internet access is not available to the LAN. A DSL connection should be added to my network next week, but I know such connections sometimes go down. So here's my question: If I assign a domain name to the server (under Virtual Server: default) that also is hosted on a server on the Internet (I have space on a shared server), will browsing to that domain URL go to the Internet server when the Internet is up and to my local server when the Internet is down?
