Hello,

I know this is not a specifically a Cherokee question, but I thought I would
give it a try if anyone might throw me a bone.

First of all I need to explain that I am trying to stick with the packages
provided by my distro which is Fedora 13, rather than installing from source.

Secondly my overall goal is to simply know how to run PHP through php-fpm with
Cherokee.

I did a little research into php-fpm and found out that the reason Fedora does
not provide a package for it is because Fedora already provides PHP 5.3.3,
which also says that it now comes pre-packaged with php-fpm.

The package I installed to run php through Cherokee was php-cli, which comes
with the php command line and CGI interfaces. I did not think I needed the full
php package because its dependancies include httpd (apache) to run the mod_php
for apache. Since I am running Cherokee, this seemed unnecessary and I thought
I installed just what I needed.

My problem now is that I have no I idea where or how to get php-fpm up and
running.
Is it with the full php package that I did not install?
Is it hidden somewhere in the configuration of the php-cli or php-common
packages?
Am I totally missing something that is right in front of my face?

Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Jim Isaacs
