I have been able to get my static sites running nicely, but I'm having problems getting a trac site working reliably. Some issues for me with questions:
1. I have been modifying my cherokee.conf file locally, using ssh to send it to my remote server, and then login to the server and complete installation and restart. I know the docs recommend using the ssh tunnel method, but I can't seem to make it work--all I get is a blank page, so I must be doing something wrong as I do this: ssh -L 9090:localhost:9090 remote_IP and then set my browser to http://localhost:9090 Any idea what I'm doing wrong? What do others recommend for such remote operations? 2. My trac environment tests fine with trac-admin on the site, but I must be making an error somewhere in the cherokee set up because I get a "503 Service Unavailable" when I try to access the trac site remotely. Does anyone have any hints about critical settings that are easy to get wrong? Thanks for your help. Best regards, -Tom Thomas M.
