The tire diameter of a 235/70x15 is approx. 27.9 while a 255/60x15 is approx.
27". The front tires will be taller than the backs. Not to mention the
sidewall will be taller on the 70 series. Look at
www.speedworldmotorplex.com. On the horsepower calculator you can also plug
in tire sizes and it will calculate tire diameter. This may help. I've always
had good luck with either a 225/23560Rx15 all around or either one in the
front and a 255/27560R15 on rear. Fronts use 6 or7" rim and backs use 8" rim.
