Hi Guys,
   I just got back from the Charlotte Auto Fair and I am confused. The first car I spotted was a 65 el camino, total resto, L79 [ 327/ 350 horse] factory 4 speed. etc. it was a really nicely restored car. My question- the car had a 10 bolt rear end. I thought and have been told that all 65`s with a 327 or 396 in 1965, had 12 bolt rears. I asked this question all day and really did not get a confident answer. Later in the day a guy had a 65 SS resto and it had the 327/ 250 horse engine and  the 12 bolt rear. This owner says all the 327`s have 12 bolt rears. Naturally, I`m confused and I am fixing a 65 elky with a 327 and want to know if they had 12 bolts or not? Any help appreciated, thanx Bob Myers NC
