Q-jet carbs are date coded in the part #. followed by a 2 letter 4 digit
number

your 7028212.....

702 ......built in the 60's
8     ......built in 1968
2     ...... 4 barrell Q-jet ...to federal standards
1     ...... installed on a Chevy
2     ...... manual transmission

there follows a 2 letter 4 number code that nails down the exact date .
