SC TV Notes -- When FOX snapped up the Speedvision organization last
year rumors began to flow almost immediately that SV was going to
become "the NASCAR Channel". Since then Speedvision has become the
SPEED Channel and although a NASCAR block of programming has been
announced, repeated assurances have been given that F1, ALMS and all
the other great motorsports programming will still be around. The
first great look at things to come for the NASCAR fans comes with
word that seven Busch North and seven Featherlite Modified races
will be aired. It is the first time since TNN lost NASCAR that
either series has gotten extended coverage. Kudos to the (FOX) SPEED
Channel.
