The previously announced "NASCAR TV" block was announced as running from 3:00
p.m. until midnight. This idea has
apparently been shelved as NASCAR programming
is spread all throughout the day and by no
means exclusive from 3:00 until midnight.
Totally NASCAR airs in a consistent time
slot at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Inside Winston Cup makes its
much-anticipated return at 8:00 p.m. ET Mondays, with
re-airs at 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 11:00
p.m. Wednesdays.
F1 practice gets a one-hour slot at 7:00
a.m. Fridays.
F1 qualifying is on from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30
a.m. Fridays, with a re-air at 9:30 Saturday
evening and 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
F1 racing will be shown from 7:30 a.m.
until 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
CART practice will air from 2:00 to 3:00
p.m. on Fridays.
CART qualifying gets 1 1/2 hours at 1:30
p.m. Saturdays.
CART races get the 1:00 p.m. Sunday slot
for a two-hour broadcast.
8:00 p.m. Sunday will be a CART or F1 race
re-air, as will 1:00 a.m. on Mondays.
The 7:00 p.m. Friday slot is reserved for
a "Trackside" show from some event that
week. Re-air is at midnight and then at
11:00 a.m. Saturday.
The 8:30 p.m. Friday slot is reserved for
Winston Cup qualifying. We assume this will
be a re-air of that afternoon's broadcast
on FX or some other outlet. Also, we assume
that it will not be shown on SpeedChannel
when FX has it delayed until Friday evening.
Re-air is at 1:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
The Busch race re-air time slots are 1:00
a.m. and Noon on Tuesdays, plus 3:00 p.m.
on Thursdays.
Many prime Tuesday slots are reserved for
motorcycle programming.
CART Countdown will air at 10:30 p.m. Fridays.
"NASCAR Classic" races will air at 1:00
p.m. on Wednesdays and 3:00 p.m. on
Fridays.
Winston Cup Wednesday will air at 8:00
p.m. on Wednesdays and 1:00 a.m. and Noon
on Thursdays.
Hooters Pro Cup racing has a time slot at
8:00 p.m. on Thursdays, with a re-air at 1:00
a.m. Fridays.
Racing Across America, the NASCAR Touring
division races, will air on Monday nights
at 8:00 p.m., with a re-air at 4:00 p.m.
on Wednesdays.
