Rob, You floored me with this offer. You do not know how bummed I am about this problem. This is my only car, my daily driver. Why would you offer me heads??? I live in Daytona Beach, Fl  I am running a Crane Cams 210/216 duration @.050 (Intake/Exhaust) .440/.454 valve lift (1.5 stock rockers) on 108 lobe centerline. I am using Crane springs part #99840 (105#@1.7lift 265#@1.280 lift). I have found the problem. An exhaust lobe on the camshaft is rounded AAAAAgain. I believe that the guy who milled the studs to installed threaded studs for the rocker arm has F))(*&)()#k up my heads. This happens when I take off quickly. I have a 350 cu.in. motor. The car seems to run ok when you get going and does not have a miss. It idles ok. I check the timing and moved it up and down with no change in this popping. The popping sound get louder with the timing is advance higher. It is just when you take off fast that you hear this popping noise. I am afraid that this is a valve train problem because the car idles ok and runs ok. Any Idea on where to start looking.
