Thanks Al. of course I had no way of knowing that they help with the cost of running the list. As far as putting business names & links in sig files. I am on 4 mail lists now and they all allow it. There are no intentions to change this.   Our costs just tripled in the last month and a lot of this stuff is on borrowed time. Some make money by this list or the free ads on chevelles.com. You are offering something back by your participation, which has been great, but from my perspective, the comment you made about a 'buying from a non list member' (which you missed in your reply) had to be answered. BTW, I do have some objection to this statement. I have only been on this list since the summer, but I don't know of anybody from Ground Up "helping this list" in any way during that time. OTOH, I think I was the first person to send money to Keith (that's not why I did it either), and I also have answered many a mechanical question here. I am not saying that you're wrong Al, but what exactly do they do to "help this list"? I personally haven't noticed anything.
