According to what other people have said, a 275-40-17 should have a 110mm sidewall height (about 4.33 inches). Multiply that by 2 and add it to your 17-inch rim for total tire height of 25.66 inches. A 235-60-14 gives you 141mm sidewall (5.68 inches) times 2, plus 14 inches = 26.36 inches. Feel free to check my math and correct me if I'm wrong. They shouldn't be much of a taller tire then 235-60-14 that I a using now, considering the sidewall difference.
