Dave The lower trim was on El Camino Custom only. Silver or black paint below the trim was part of this upgrade. The base el camino & SS did not have the trim. My elky is a custom with the SS hood. I'm thinking of having the lower body repainted in the argent silver. Then get the wheels done to match.
I never asked about the wheels, but I like them. My spare has the gold inset. Have you ever investigated having them re polished/painted? I'm trying to find someone local to get an estimate on cost. One of these years, I might even make a web page with my cars onit. :-P I am curious about the molding along the bottom body line. Is that an SS option?
