Naw..... go ahead weld the tank, it'll be fine :) it won't hurt........ long!! Ha!! Seriously though you can have them repaired if you can find a welder stupid enough, but the best thing is to just go ahead and replace it.

Well, last week the fuel pump went out, and this week the gas tank started
leaking. It looks like there was a repair made to the tank long before I
bought it, and for some reason the repair started leaking this week.

Any thoughts on repairing vs. replacing the tank?
